Offer history record

It's possible to create an offer in CRM+. This is done by creating a new offer history entry to the client:

You have two choices.

You can decide that you use another software (for e.g: Microsoft Word) to create an offer and attach it, and only fill the attached offer value field with the appropriate offer value. It's a good idea to choose this when you already have a template that you use for a long time, and do not wish to switch, but you want to store them in CRM+, toggle the states of them and create reports.

The other possibility is to use CRM+ for creating the offers.

In this case you click on the “Make offer” button:

An offer in CRM+ contains 3 parts.

The first part is the header which is the introduction part.
The second part is the product list, the offer is about.
The last part is the footer.

Offer templates

You can create and use offer templates, if you have an offer that you usually send to clients with almost the same products and data.

This is almost similar to a letter template which you can read about here at the letter templates part.

Here you can create the header, use tags in them, add the products, etc.

When choosing an offer template, the header, footer and the products parts are copied to the offer, with the tags changed to the appropriate fields:

Printing an offer

You can now print this offer.

There are two formats you can choose from, the list format, and the photo format:

The difference is that the photo format has a little photo on the right side of the template (which was previously attached to the product at the product chooser):

The header and the footer images come from the previously set letter templates.

Sending an offer in email

You can also send an offer in email by clicking on the Email offer button.

Here you can decide the format as well:

Finishing an offer history

You can decide whether you wish to add a reminder to this history item or not.

If you do not wish to add a reminder, you can hide the reminder part of the history, by clicking on the little down arrow icon:

If you do not close it down, CRM+ will ask you to fill out the reminder part of the history as well.

If you have closed it down, it will look something like this:

Offer status

An offer entry can have 3 statuses: active (not yet decided), success, failed.

If you have stored an offer, and re-open it, you will see the following screen:

Here you can set the status by clicking on the “Offer result” button.

The following window appers:

Here you can toggle the status of the offer, set a category to it, and even add additional information to it.

Categories which you can choose form, are connected to the status, so if you have an active offer, you can set it a pending, waiting or possible category:

As soon as you change the status to failed, you have to choose another category (e.g.: Too expensive, Found other one, etc).

Offer reports

At the reports panel you can find offer reports as well.

Offers list

It's just a simple list report which you can use for listing your offers. You can set the dates, creator, states, categories, etc.

The result is a colored list, which shows states as colors (red- failed, green- success, no color- active).

Graphic offer report

Here you can set up the report parameters, set the last date the graph should show, and choose what kind of report you want (weekly,monthly).

The result is a table with graphs which summarizes offers by categories:
