Email importing

CRM+ can import an email with its attachments from the email client.

Currently Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, OS X Mail and Microsoft Entourage are supported.

To do this:

  1. Open your mail client
  2. Click on the email you want to import (you can also import your sent or trashed emails as well)
  3. Go back to CRM+
  4. Create a new history entry (or if you are at knowledge base, create a new knowledge base record)

Press the email import button you see on this window.

The email with all of its attachment will appear soon at the history entry. After this you can use this as a standard [[using:history:3_communications_history|communications history] entry. Please check out that page for further information.

**Notice Outlook users: Outlook will pop up a warning message saying that an external software (CRM+) is trying to reach your letters:

Please click on the allow access checkbox, choose the highest value available next to it, then click yes.
